5. Our GLBA Privacy Notice (Nonpublic Personal Information)

As a licensed insurance producer, we are required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the privacy of consumer financial and health information regulations adopted in the states where we do business to tell you how we collect, use, and protect your nonpublic personal financial information (“NPI”). This section, together with Sections 1, 2, and 4 above, constitutes that notice.

• Categories of NPI we collect: information from applications and forms (e.g., name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, income), information about your transactions with us or others (e.g., policy and claims history), and information from consumer reporting agencies (e.g., credit or motor vehicle reports).

• Categories of NPI we disclose and to whom: as described in Section 4, we disclose information as necessary to carriers and service providers to service your insurance needs, and as otherwise permitted by law. We do not disclose NPI to nonaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.

• Your right to opt out: where we intend to share NPI in a manner not permitted by law without consent, you will be given the opportunity to opt out before such sharing occurs.

• Confidentiality and security: we restrict access to NPI to employees and service providers who need it to do their jobs, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect it. We will provide this notice to new customers at the start of our relationship and, for as long as required by applicable law, make it available to existing customers on an ongoing basis, including through this website

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our website is hosted on Wix, which maintains its own security measures for the underlying platform. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, service your policy or relationship with us, and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and insurance recordkeeping requirements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
8.1 All Visitors and Customers

• You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us directly

• You may ask us to correct inaccurate contact or application information

• You may opt out of certain sharing of your nonpublic personal information as described in Section 5

8.2 Virginia Residents

If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) gives you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of processing for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Note that information covered by GLBA and related insurance privacy laws (Section 5) is generally exempt from the VCDPA

8.3 Texas Residents

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) provides similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. As with Virginia, data subject to GLBA and Texas insurance privacy regulations is generally exempt.

8.4 North Carolina, South Carolina, and Michigan Residents

North Carolina, South Carolina, and Michigan do not currently have comprehensive consumer privacy laws in effect. As an insurance producer, we nonetheless extend the GLBA-based protections described in Section 5 to all customers regardless of state, and we will honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or limit the use of your information.

8.5 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, contact us using the information in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including insurance carrier portals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

11. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, our website does not currently respond to them.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised Policy on this website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
